Memorial for Brian"Cody"Prosser
On Nov. 11, 2006, a memorial was deicated to Brian "Cody" Prosser, a sergeant in the U.S.Army. He was stationed in Tarin Kot, Afghanistan, Nov.2001 and was fatally wounded 3 weeks later when a misfired U.S. bomb exploded 100 yards from their position near Kandahar. He was interned in Arlington National Cemetery. The VoVMC was very well represented by one of our very own brothers, "Doc". Doc served in the U.S. Army from 1964-1967. He served in Vietnam in 1965-1966 with the Third Brigade, 25th infantry Divison. When he spoke in behalf of VoVMC, he said "I have never stood before people like this. We can never forget to honor our men and woman in the military service, no matter what our views are on the war"
Doc was included as part of the color guard, and also laying of the wreath at the memorial. He spoke for all of us in the brotherhood, and gave a good representation of our club and what we are all about...unity, pride, and the spirit of vets everywhere.
Heartfelt thanks go out to you Doc, for being there for us, and showing what we are all about."Veterans of Vietnam Motorcycle Club of Ca"
